The Immersion I training at Real Life Ministries is a unique 2-day interactive small group experience where…
- …You will be challenged to evaluate and rethink how you do church.
- ..You will work together to develop key areas that will transform your church into a healthy, growing, disciple making church.
- …You will hear God’s design for relationship.
Many leaders and their teams leave this training with a stronger bond in their relationships with each other, a renewed vision for Jesus’ model of intentional leadership, and a desire to become disciple making disciples.
The Real Life Ministries Immersion I in March 2012 contained about 70 attendees from all across the country and the world. Here are some thoughts and insights from 3 of the people who attended this training. They were asked to share what impacted them the most from the 2 day experience.

Impressions of Immersion 1
It was so refreshing to see the relational environment both with God and others.
The leaders modeled transparency – they helped facilitate real life right now in the small groups.
We (Trinity Bible Church) plan to start small when we get back. We are not going to go in and change the groups we already have.
Our goal is to keep being vulnerable -

I didn’t really know what to expect coming to this Immersion. But I have received more than I could have even anticipated.
It is the most meaningful, helpful, practical, insightful and experiential training I have ever been exposed to.
And it was delivered by real effective models, who live out what they want us to discover and achieve.
Everything they have shown us is absolutely attainable.
Frani Olson

I went to Bible school. I grew up in a church that included wooden pews, a tight assembly, covered heads.
You didn’t share your life. You just came and showed yourself to be perfect in church. You swept your problems under the rug.
Now I recognize that relationships are all throughout the Bible. That it is based on relationship not rules.
It takes a long time to trust people again, but I would encourage others who are in the throws of bondage to step out in courage.
We would like to say thank you to Mark, Rik, and Frani for being willing to share their thoughts on the training.
